Three cinematic micro-games turn everyday dilemmas into safe, memorable practice. Each one makes the invisible cost of a choice visible — then gives players a useful framework to take into real life.

What You Gained
    What You Gave Up

      The Crossroads

A safe promotion or a risky leap?

      3–5 min

      Gameplay loop

Walk through a living city hub, meet a mentor, then choose between staying, negotiating, or joining a startup. A fast-forward “six months later” sequence animates income, energy, relationships, and learning as branching consequences.

      Learning target

Opportunity cost and values-based trade-offs. A post-scene balance sheet separates what the player gained from what they gave up, without grading ambition as right or wrong.

      Visual direction

Rain-slick streets, warm office interiors, expressive mentor performance, subtle eye-lines and hand gestures. UI appears as a translucent “life dashboard” anchored to the wrist.

      Engagement mechanic

Players earn a “Choice Signature” — Explorer, Builder, or Balancer — plus a replay prompt that changes the mentor’s follow-up based on the prior rationale.

      Playable 3-Act Structure

Act I: City Beacon Navigation → Act II: Month 3 Friday Crisis Curveball → Act III: Month 6 Balance Sheet.

      Pressure Point

Spend now, save steadily, or protect the downside?

      4 min

      Gameplay loop

In a tactile apartment, a surprise expense arrives. Players allocate a limited stack of tokens across needs, wants, and an emergency fund, then watch a month unfold through cinematic vignettes and probability-driven events.

      Learning target

Risk assessment, present bias, and loss aversion. Players compare “best case,” “likely case,” and “bad break” outcomes, learning to distinguish a vivid story from the actual probability.

      Visual direction

Near-photoreal materials, changing daylight, close-up object animation, and an embodied protagonist whose posture shifts with financial pressure. A clean probability ribbon keeps the maths legible.

      Engagement mechanic

A resilience score measures how many future options remain open. Daily challenge cards remix the same budget with a different shock, making improvement visible over time.

      Playable 30-Day Survival Loop

Day 1: 3D Token Stack Allocation → Day 10: Social Temptation → Day 19: Surprise Shock Absorption → Day 30: Resilience Score.

      Between the Lines

React quickly, ask a question, or take space?

      3 min

      Gameplay loop

Players enter a café conversation after receiving an ambiguous text. They select a response, adjust tone and timing, then watch the other character react in real time. A rewind lets them test one alternative.

      Learning target

Fundamental attribution error, emotional regulation, and the “assume positive intent, then verify” habit. Feedback highlights the story the player invented versus the evidence actually available.

      Visual direction

Intimate over-the-shoulder camera, nuanced facial blendshapes, lip-sync, breathing, fidgeting, and gaze aversion. Background patrons and traffic create a believable social environment without distracting from the exchange.

      Engagement mechanic

Players build a “Conversation Range” meter, then export a shareable card showing their default response pattern and one practical phrase to try offline.

      Playable 3-Beat Dialogue & Rewind

Beat 1: Tone & Timing Setup → Beat 2: Live Café Counter-Proposal → Beat 3: Story vs Evidence & Timeline Rewind.

      Shared feedback pattern

After every choice: show the immediate human consequence, reveal the hidden trade-off, name the bias or framework, then offer one replay with a changed variable. Keep the tone curious, never punitive.

      Production guardrails

Use accessible captions, keyboard-selectable choices, reduced-motion mode, pause controls, and a non-3D fallback card. Load the core interaction first; stream high-fidelity character and environment states seamlessly.

      Decision Runway
